Website privacy policy
The short version
This website asks you for nothing and tracks nothing about you. There is no form to fill in, no account to make, no cookie, no analytics, no advertising tracker, and no code from any other company. The one thing that is written down is the ordinary server record every website on the internet produces, and that is described further down this page.
That is unusual, so the rest of this page explains exactly what does and does not happen when you open it.
What a page actually loads
Every file a page loads comes from this website: the page itself, one stylesheet, and one font file. The logo is drawn in the page rather than loaded as an image. Nothing is requested from Google, from a font service, from a content network, or from an advertising company. The site runs no scripts.
This matters for a reason beyond tidiness. On a treatment provider's website, a third-party tracker can tell an advertising company that a particular device looked at a page about mental health care. Nexa's answer to that risk is not to configure it carefully. It is not to have any.
What the company that serves this website can see
This website is served by Cloudflare (Cloudflare Pages). Any web host keeps ordinary server records, which include the internet address a request came from. That is how the web works, and Nexa does not use those records for advertising or combine them with anything else. How Cloudflare handles its records is described in Cloudflare's privacy policy.
Do not send health details by email
The email address on this site is for general questions. Ordinary email is not private, and this website is not a client portal. Please do not email health details. Call (805) 210-2288 instead.
Writing to that address opens your own email program. This website does not receive or store anything when you do.
Client records are covered by a different document, the Notice of Privacy Practices, which is about your medical record. This page is only about the website.
Children
This website collects nothing from anyone, including children.
In an emergency, do not use this website
Call or text 988 for the Suicide and Crisis Lifeline, any hour of any day. If this is a medical emergency, or anyone is in immediate danger, call 911. This website is not monitored, and Nexa is not an emergency or overnight service.
Changes
If this ever stops being true, for example if a form or a booking tool is added, this page changes first, and it says what changed.
